Object History

This elegant geometric kilim rug was woven by hand in Anatolia, a large peninsula that now makes up a large part of modern Turkey, in the 1920s. Constructed with fine organic hand-spun wool and cotton which has been dyed with traditional vegetable dying techniques which have been used for generations due to their ability to create both vivid and subtle tones.
