Antique Oak and Hide Desk Chair or Library Chair:
This good quality Antique Oak Desk Chair or library chair has recently been professionally re-upholstered in a tan coloured hide and trimmed with brass studding.
The chair has a ‘horse shoe’ shaped back with raised deep padded back support. The supporting spindles are well turned with shaped and reeded end supports.
The chair has a very attractive shaped, generous and comfortable sprung seat with brass studs along the edge.
The front legs are well turned and reeded. The rear legs are swept outwards and all four legs terminate in brass and brown ceramic cup castors.
This is a very substantial and comfortable antique desk chair which would suit any antique desk or antique library table.
