It is a very comfortable and capacious chair with a raised padded back and sprung seat.
It is upholstered in a good quality plum coloured hide with brass studded borders.
The chair has a padded and upholstered arms with spindle supports.
The original swivel seat mechanism is in good working order and the chair stands on four cabriole legs with brass castors.
This very handsome antique desk chair is in excellent condition being cleaned, wax polished and solidly constructed.
It would make a very suitable partner for an antique desk or antique library or writing table.
