Object Description
This is a really good addition to any house – it is a jardinaire, literally a floor standing plant pot.
An antique jardinaire or plant stand is a really posh way of filling an empty space in the house – perhaps in the corner of a room or halfway up the staircase.
This one was made during the Georgian revival period. This means that it is really well made and follows an elegant design. Thin legs and precisely cut inlay and crossbanding compliment the finest cuts of mahogany.
