Object Description

A charming pair of antique silver beakers with the deep embossed and engraved decoration very typical of Russian beakers of this period. Each beaker has two vignettes of a cherub and a cockerel, one beaker also with a crest and init1als in old script. Each contains 220 ml. Total weight 149 grams, 4.7 troy ounces. Height 8.5cm. Diameter 7cm. Russian silver marks for 1744.

Object Condition

A rare pair of silver drinking cups in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Crisp relief. Marked underneath with a matching set of Russian silver marks.
