Object Description

An excellent set of antique sterling silver cutlery in the elegant fiddle pattern. Each piece has a hand engraved monogram in old fashioned script. Total 30 pieces comprising 6 large spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 large forks, 6 dessert forks, 6 teaspoons. Weight 1581 grams, 50.8 troy ounces. London 1821. Makers William Clove and Eley & Fern.

Object Condition

This set of solid silver cutlery is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. All pieces have good, clear silver marks. All same date London 1821 and maker William Chawner except the large forks which are London 1821 but maker stamped Eley & Fern. William Chawner, Eley & Fern all worked together from 1809.
