An excellent quality model fish in sterling silver. Unusual style with another small fish inside his mouth. Large size. Beautifully articulated. Naturalistic engraved detail and scales. The bottom fins serve also as stand supports.
Weight 455 grams, 14.6 troy ounces.
Total length (including little fish) 46 cm. Height 12 cm.
Stamped on the tail fin with continental silver marks.
Probably Spanish.
