Object Description
A delightful Antique Silver George III of oval form, made by William Holmes of London in 1779. The upper and lower portions of the teapot are ornamented with a band of bright cut engraving. One side of the teapot has bright cut engraving, depicting a plain cartouche surrounded by bows and swags. The teapot has a pull off lid with a silver finial and has a fine line of bright cut engraving around the edge. Height to top of finial 5 inches 12.7 cm Width from spout to handle 9.5 inches 24.2 cm
