Object Description
Charming and early near pair of George III period antique sofas standing on tall square taper legs with spade feet. This is a rare opportunity to aquire two so decorative and such similar sofas of this age. The paint is in good condition and shows remarkably little wear. They are upholstered using correct two stage hand stitched unsprung horsehair. The fabric is Gainsborough at the moment and can be reupholstered as necessary of course.
