This is a wonderful antique George V sterling silver hand-mirror with hallmarks for Birmingham 1916 and the maker’s mark of the renowned silversmiths H Matthews.
The vanity bevelled mirror features a heavy embossed solid silver decoration in the Sheraton Revival style featuring swags, scrolls, bellflowers and ribbons.
