Antique Treen 19th Century Iron Bound Ash Half Gallon Grain or Flour Measure

Object Description

A pleasing iron bound ash half gallon grain or flour measure, stamped with a crown G2R No. 15 (possibly Grantham) half gallon. The base is also stamped and has cross iron supports. The whole has a lovely rich dark colour and good patination.
