Object Description
A good quality, most attractive and well constructed early 19th century offertory dish, made of mahogany with the slanting surface veneered in well grained rosewood, with a sunken centre and having a banded edge surrounding the design of the cross. The plain angled underside is raised on a shallow rounded moulded foot. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination.
