A beautiful Victorian gold and diamond hinged bangle c.1890s, the classic hoop style bangle formed of 18ct yellow gold and set to the front with seven graduated old European brilliant cut diamonds interspersed with pairs of smaller old European diamonds and embellished with rose cut diamond points, all set within a traditional carved gallery with scroll detailing, with hinged opening at the side and a concealed tongue and box clasp with safety chain. This classically late Victorian style bangle boasts over nine and a half carats of lovely old cut diamonds which are bright and lively and have been well matched. They are set open backed and with pierced sides to allow maximum light into them and they are wonderfully sparkly as a result. Whether you wear it alone or alongside other bracelets this bangle is sure to garner admiring glances from all who see it.
