This is a super antique Victorian silver plated novelty cruet set in the style of a donkey.
The donkey’s harness is struck with a Victorian lozenge which shows it was made on 25th March 1869.
The harness holds the mustard and pepper pots and the salt is styled as the trough.
The mustard and salt both have spoons – I’m not sure they are original but they do a perfect job.
It’s in super condition with no damage and measures 4″ (10 cms) tall and the base is 4″ (10 cms) x 2 1/2″ (6.5 cms).
