Object Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver and glass lemonade jug which has a plain silver mount, a hinged lid with a pierced thumb piece and a shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. The cut glass body is particularly attractive and there is a plain cylindrical container , which has been designed to hold the ice, which fits neatly inside the body of the jug. This ice container has a plain silver mount and silver lid with a simple knob on the top. This jug would be perfect to use for lemonade or Pimms and would look eye catching on the table.

Object History

This lemonade jug was hallmarked in London for 1898 by Gibson and Langman.
