Object Description

An Antique Victorian Sterling silver bowl which is circular in shape with a deep body, gadroon decoration around the rim, a wonderful frieze depicting Leopards’s heads, urns, bows and swags and resting on a raised pedestal foot. The lower part of this bowl is decorated with leaves and there are two side handles with leopards’s heads and ring attachments. This silver bowl has been made to the highest standard both in quality and design and it would make a unique centrepiece for the table. It weighs 71.50 ozs.

This silver bowl was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1899 by Elkington.
