An Antique Victorian Sterling silver cutlery set which has been designed in the Fiddle pattern style for twelve persons and has 87 pieces in total. This plain silver set has been made to an extremely high standard, as one would expect from George Adams, and consists of :-
12 x table knives measuring 24.60 cms in length.
12 x desert knives measuring 22.20 cms in length.
12 x table forks measuring 20.70 cms in length.
12 x dessert forks measuring 17.30 cms in length.
12 x table spoons measuring 22.20 cms in length.
12 x dessert spoons measuring 18.40 cms in length.
12 x teaspoons measuring 14.40 cms in length.
2 x sauce ladles measuring 18.20 cms in length.
1 x basting spoon measuring 30.70 cms in length.
This set would be practical to use and would look elegant on the dining table. The new silver handled knives blend in perfectly with the rest of the cutlery and this set weighs 114.00 troy ounces in total excluding the knives. The silver pieces range in date between 1842-1875 and there are attractive blue cloths to keep the the cutlery neat and tidy.
