Object Description

This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver vinaigrette made by Nathaniel Mills and hallmarked for Birmingham in 1847.

The lid is engraved with a scene depicting Kenilworth Castle.

The interior retains the original gilding and intricately pierced grille.

It measures 1 1/2″ (4 cms) x 1″ (2.5 cms) and is in very good condition with no damage at all – it weighs 23.7 grams.
