Object Description
This is a lovely antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 3″ (8 cms) x just over 1 3/4″ (4.5 cms).
It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside.
It’s hallmarked for Birmingham 1872 with the silversmiths mark for Robert Thornton.
It weighs 59.4 grams/1.9 troy oz and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms.
