This is a superb antique Victorian tortoiseshell and sterling silver desk top letter/paper clip.
The heart shape base measures 5 1/4″ (13 cms) x ” (12.5 cms) across and is in excellent condition.
The tortoiseshell has beautiful colour and it has a lovely hallmarked silver spring clip in the style of Hermes the messenger of the gods.
It’s hallmarked for London 1895 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Jacob.
This lovely item will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
