Antique Viennese cold painted bronze group by Bergman

Object Description

Representing a horse with and Arab huntsman riding it and lining up his rifle to shoot, signed to the underside with a ‘B’ inside a vase and with foundry and inventory marks.

This bronze group is an excellent example of Bergman’s is famously detailed Orientalist style, rendered in the unusual cold painted technique.
