Object Description
Spice things up in the bedroom with this early 18th century antique linen press. It is made of quarter cut bookmatched walnut veneer with crossbanding and double stringing around the drawers. The doors are hinged to as to fold totally back to allow easy access to the interior.
This is a fine example of the best sort of cabinetmaking dating from before the age of mahogany.
