Object Description
Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.36 carats, further set with six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats, further adorned with twenty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.80 carats, to a geometric cluster design featuring a stepped bezel, a linear pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by grooved openwork shoulders continuing to a vertically ridged solid shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80240-32.
