Object Description
Art Deco diamond cocktail ring. Diagonally set with two square step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, each diamond flanked to one side by fourteen rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back in channel settings with a combined weight of 0.90 carats, the alternate side flanked by thirty six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.30 carats, to a geometric crossover design with fine openwork centre, polished borders, diamond set gallery and intricately pierced backholing, the integrating shoulders terminate to a split open linear shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930.
