A Fine & Rare Art Deco Period Vase decorated in the Dinanderie Technique.
The surface of the vase decorated with a continuous pattern of swirls,sun rays & a design reminiscent of oil on water in gold.The ground colour of graduating tones of greys to silver .
The vase is of large size but with no visible makers marks.
I would suggest the vase is either of French or German manufacture.As the piece has no marks it is difficult to be certain which.
This style of decoration become very fashionable during the 1920s & 1930s,the technique of dinanderie is complex & highly skilled.

The overall condition is good, there are some small losses to the surface patination & a number of small dents.
