Elegant Sapphire and Diamond Ring, Circa 1930.
Featuring a beautiful rectangular cut mid blue sapphire, measuring approximately 1.5 carats. To each shoulder are three baguette cut diamonds in curved rub over settings, measuring approximately .10 carats, G colour and VS clarity. The raised pierced out gallery leads to a platinum plain band shank (non marked). The head of the ring measures approximately 7mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings which allow the light to shine through.
This would make the perfect engagement ring.
