Object Description
Asscher cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with an asscher cut diamond, E colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 0.81 carats in an open back corner claw setting, flanked by eight round old single cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.91 carats, to an openwork gallery with cheniers and curved shoulders with intricate backholing, tapering to a solid knife edge shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #16015327.
