Object Description
A silver plate and crocodile Hip or Spirit Flask also by Z. Barraclough & Sons of Leeds.
It has a bayonet fitting to the cap and a light gilt wash to the cup’s interior. The underside of the removable cup is stamped with the seller’s details.
The flask is rounded to the back to sit comfortably against the body when in a pocket. A useful flask for the traveller to take a warming nip on a cold day and smarter for being crocodile rather than leather. Circa 1900.
