Object Description

Black Forest Very Rare Cuckoo Clock.
Finely carved of two solid blocks of wood, with the subject of the typical black forest farm house, watermill and a deer grazing in the wood standing on rocks.
Still with the original numbering, hands, carved pendulum and rare crowned cast iron gilded pine cone weights.
Still with the original fully cleaned and serviced brass movement striking every 30 minutes on a gong, on the same moment a cuckoo will appear opening the farmhouse door and calls the famous cuckoo sound, by opening his beak giving the full and half hour time.
In wonderful original condition and in fully working order, no missing pieces.
It is very rare to find this type of cuckoo clock.
