A late 19th century mahogany bow front side table by Gillows of Lancaster.
The table has a figured mahogany single piece top with a moulded edge and a shelf between the legs.
The table stands on four square tapered legs that are line inlaid with box wood and have spayed toes.
The table has a bow fronted drawer that is satinwood inlaid, has gilded brass ring handles and solid mahogany drawer linings.
The frame below the drawer has shaped corners that are box wood strung to the front.
The table is made from excellent quality mahogany and is stamped ‘Gillows’ to the middle of the drawer edge. (Circa 1890)
