Object Description

An extremely fine example of an Late Bronze Age-Celtic period cast bronze coiled armlet formed from a continuous rod in fifteen passes. It is flat on the inside, very slightly rounded on the outside, and has tapering terminals, with the top terminal ending in a point. Each ring features a raised midrib and decorative incised lines, some of which have faded due to time.

Date: Circa 1200-500 BC

Object Condition

Extremely fine condition, surface is partially covered with bright green patination. The item comes with its stand.
