A stylish gold and diamond necklace by Buccellati c.1960s, designed as a multi row openwork collar style necklace in 18ct yellow gold formed of seventeen rectangular openwork links with four horizontal bars set with six round brilliant cut diamonds, three on each side in a vertical row, joined by triple bar links, all to a concealed tongue and box clasp. This elegant necklace sits around the base of the neck and has a light airy feel thanks to the open design. The diamonds add a subtle sparkle to the textured gold which is perfectly smooth on the reverse making the necklace very comfortable to wear. A classic piece of Italian gold jewellery that has a timeless quality and beauty to it.
