Object Description
A superb, museum quality cobalt goblet vase, with a straight rim over a bulbous facet cut upper section on a facet cut ring, rounded band and wavy edge facet cut spreading base. The upper section is masterfully deep carved and gilded – in two colour tones – with a boar hunting scene between trees,and a castle vista with flying birds above. Other parts of the vase, including the sixteen point star to the under-base are highlighted with gilt outlines and patterns. Circa 1840, Bohemian.
