Ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond earrings by Cartier London. A pair of yellow gold earrings, set with twenty baguette cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back channel settings with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, twenty baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in similar settings with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, ten baguette cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in similar settings with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, interspersed with fifty eight round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate weight of 3.50 carats, to a bombé shape half loop set with diagonal bands of gemstones with honeycomb pierced backholing, the reverses mounted with secure hinged clip fittings. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed ‘Cartier London’, circa 1978.
