Charles I Oak and Ebonised Cabinet of Drawers in the Laudian style. English, circa 1640.
The high quality Oak cabinet with multiple applied architectural mouldings with contrasting ebonised balusters and cabochons in the Bishop Laud or Laudian style. Having a decorated top drawer above twin cabinets doors enclosing a further four graduated drawers with original lock and hinges. The cabinet retains the original bun feet and rear stiles and all applied mouldings.
