A fine colour Charles II oak child’s chair,the turned legs united by stretchers,original seat and initials WC and WG inside the left arm,DG carved into the back seat rail.Seat height is 11 ins.

The Earl of Powis ,Lymore Hall ,Montgomery ,a fine Elizabethan manor house purchased by Fred Anderson in the 1920’s,his son David ,born in 1920 sat in this chair whenever he could get his elder sister Joan out of it !Thence by descent.
Good colour and patina,there is an old repair at the top of the left han d leg where it goes into the rail and the right arm has been strengthened at the back by a tenon but basically in great condition for a chair made Circa 1685.
