Object Description
Chaumet emerald and diamond dress ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats, decorated by two round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.32 carats, to a curved undulating plaque with stepped details, raised central collet, curving claws and finely pierced backholing, the broad integrated trumpeting shoulders include geometric stepped panels which taper to a solid ribbed shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, signed ‘CHAUMET PARIS’, French, circa 1940.
