Circa 1890, Chinese kang or low table. The rectangular shaped table has a fielded, quarter sawn panel insert to the top contained in a wide frame, with curved ends with similar foliate carving in a fielded panel. It has an elaborate pierced apron with Chinese motifs to the centre and both sides, and standing on rectangular legs with further floral designs. Finishing on raised feet and slightly curved corners.
