A late 19th to early 20th century Chinese silver six piece tea and coffee service with a tray.
The pieces are marked underneath ‘Zee Wo’ with character marks to the side, Zee Wo manufactured in Shanghai between 1870 -1930.
The pieces are decorated with faux bamboo pattern, all the handles simulate bamboo and the surfaces are decorated with bamboo leaves and tree trunks.
The set comprises a tea pot, a coffee pot, a cream or milk jug, a sugar bowl, tongs and a large tray.
The set is in very good original condition, each piece has a panel of engraved intertwined initials either ‘HC’ or ‘CH’.
