Object Description
Chinese Celadon made at the kilns of Longquan in the 17th century. Carved saucer dish with a quickly incised Shou or Good luck sign to the centre and a combed wave style pattern around the rim.
The piece is very well glazed over a thickly potted body and to the underside there is a ‘feathered’ pattern which is a rare design
being a later piece of Celadon it is a more soapy colour rather than the Ming or Yuan ‘jade’ coloured celadon.
The piece is in excellent condition and is an unusual piece
