Object Description
Shunzhi Period Porcelain Ewer made during the Chinese Transitional era of the first Qing Emperor Shunzhi.
Made at The Jingdezhen kilns and painted in over glaze decoration to show Buddhistic Lions playing with brocade balls and ribbons. Around the neck it is painted with petal shaped lappets which are repeated to the lid.
