Object Description
A very good Chippendale period Mahogany four poster bed, the crisply leaf carved reeded front columns with egg and dart carved capitols and swelling carved balusters raised on square bases.
This bed has had the rails and canopy adjusted to take a full sized modern kingsize box and mattress. The whole bed is surmounted by a moulded section canopy with a drop in upholstered panel and the bedhead is also a later addition.
