Object Description
A fine and impressive antique 1920s 0.08 carat diamond and 14 carat yellow gold locket pendant; part of our diverse collection of antique lockets
This fine and impressive antique locket has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold.
The antique gold locket has a decagon shaped form with a satin finish; this is a often the case with such period lockets.
The anterior face is ornamented with a central claw set 0.08ct Old European cut diamond, inset within a simple quatrefoil setting.
The posterior face of this hinged locket is plain and unembellished.
This 1920s hinged locket opens to allow two photographs or small mementos to be placed inside.
The locket pendant suspends from a contemporary 18 ct yellow gold 18″ fine trace chain via a plain ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design, securing with a conventional spring-loaded ring bolt fastening.
This fine example of antique jewellery has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 ct gold.
The locket is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
