Diamond cluster by Alabaster & Wilson. Centrally set with a round brilliant cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.40 carats, further set with ten rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings to two curving rows with a combined weight of 0.30 carats, and a total of thirty two round old cut diamonds in open back grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to an elegant openwork stepped cluster with bow motifs to the shoulders, intricate patterned piercing to the gallery and flanked by split shoulders leading to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, maker’s mark ‘A&W’ for Alabaster & Wilson, numbered ‘55395’, English, circa 1960.
