A very fine Aesthetic Movement Doulton Lambeth silver rimmed ewer of small size by Ellen Parmer and dated 1880. This exceptional stoneware ewer stands on a narrow pedestal foot with a round bulbous shaped body with a narrowing neck and shaped pouring spout. A handle is attached to the side. The body of the ewer is elaborately decorated with buds and leaves in low relief and set within beaded borders with a raised band of flowers applied around the upper body. The jug is decorated in tones of blue and brown with white to the stipple borders. With silver hallmarks to the rim along with impressed makers marks to the base with artist marks for Ellen Parmer and others and dated 1880.
