Object Description
Antique chest on chest made of quarter cut burr walnut with feather banding and cross banding round the edge of the drawers. This chest has faded to a wonderful honey colour, even better than it looks in the photographs. The drawers linings are made of good close grained oak which even has medullary rays. We like this chest on chest because it is usefully big while the lightness of colour and delicacy of line disguise this size.
