Object Description
A very fine quality early 18th century walnut chest of drawers. This charming chest of drawers has wonderful quarter cut walnut sides and top comprising four bookmatched quarters to each section. The front and top also have walnut cross banding and the drawers have very nice hand made dove tails and oak lined drawers instead of the more usual and inferior pine. The handles appear to be original and the whole piece has attained a lovely level of colour and patina. This chest is pictured here before restoration which is included in the price and will be carried out in our own workshop.
