Object Description
Early 19th century Regency mahogany antique dining table standing on reeded legs with brass casters and caps. This table works along the unusual concertina or scissors action which was patented by Wilkinson of Moorfields in London in 1805. The concertina mechanism makes for a flexible table and this one folds down and can be pushed against a wall like a tea table when at its smallest.
