This elegant repeat pattern design was woven by hand in Persia in 1910. The central design has a bold pattern woven with a brown background with blue, cream and yellow accent colours that make up the motifs in the diamond design. This has then been framed by a repeat pattern border with subtle brown and rust colours subtly enclosing the bold patterns.

This vintage piece was constructed in Varamin city, the capital of Varamin County, in Tehran Province, constructed with fine hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials used are of the finest quality making this piece durable and sure to last for generations if cared for correctly.
