Object Description
Very fine quality set of antique tables made of a very fine cut of rosewood with simulated rosewood supports and stretchers. These tables have been very precisely made and must have cost a lot of money when new. The turned supports, stretchers and tops are slender and beautifully drawn and the standard of construction means they are remarkably sturdy. The rosewood tops have attained a deep golden patina over the last two hundred years and the stringing and crossbanding has been very finely executed.
